The Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI) is set to bring a new level of hands-on experience for TAFE Queensland East Coast health students. 

The SCHI is a partnership between Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, TAFE Queensland East Coast, the University of the Sunshine Coast, and a medical school. 

The state-of-the-art health facility features a shared space where education providers can deliver:

• multiple education programs to train health professionals across a wide range of disciplines
• hands-on clinical training for students studying to become health professionals
• clinical and innovative research

The SCHI also features simulation suites, wet and dry research spaces, an auditorium and library facilities.
